Personal Message from Fr Tim

"The Second Vatican Council encourages everyone to take an active part in the life of the parish. As our Bishop Malcolm said in his letter calling the Nottingham Diocesan Assembly: 'The Church is a living Body, the Body of Christ. Each member is vitally necessary for the health and growth of the whole'.

I invite every parishioner of St Mary's to come forward and help us if you can. You will see in these web pages there are many organisations and activities in the parish. The door is always open to new people and new ideas which can contribute to sustaining and developing the work of the parish. Those in our community who are sick or disabled can make an immense contribution to the spiritual life of the parish with their prayers."
